Steam Cleaning Surface Prep
Surface prep is the key to success for any floor coating/industrial painting project. Grinding or shot blasting a dirty, greasy floor can cause the contaminates to imbed deeper into the concrete where they will cause the new floor topping to fail.
At PCS we address this by steam cleaning (when necessary) with super-heated liquid steam (300f). The liquid steam reacts with the surfaces vaporizing grease, oil and other chemical contaminants, completely removing them from the concrete and steel and ensuring a superior prepared surface for coating application.
