In 1989, our owner Ken Loftis and a colleague set out to clean processing equipment and paint booths for local manufacturers. Over the years he learned firsthand how to use the latest surface prep tools and strategies, the chemistry of coatings, and advanced application technology through corporate sales positions with companies such as Duron Paints and PPG-Ameron. Since then, Ken has developed a thorough, well-rounded knowledge of the industry. This expert knowledge of the field combined with NACE Certification (#342177) for the cathodic protection of metals from corrosion, and an ample amount of time spent aiding in the development/application of new inorganic magnesium-phosphate coating technology, has brought to life Polymer Coating Systems.
